mstislavl...Not sure if you know anyone but there are four new lectureship posts here in
our department. They are all on our website if anyone is interested.

...For the information of anyone thinking of applying for these jobs, the
University of Northumbria is currently on the NATFHE "no apply" list due to
it's poor treatment of academic staff (forced redundancy whilst buying a very
expensive plot of Warner Brother's land in Byker). This resulted in a one day
strike at Northumbria last Thursday. Further info can be found on the union
website I'm sure.
Of course, you are free to make up your own mindsa as to whether you wish to
honour your union and, if you are not a member, heed their warnings, but
please remember that the next jobs to be cut may be the ones you've just
taken.
