Hi, Nathalie

thank you for your letters and a e-card.

I had fabulous Christmas Holidays. Buckie's family was very wellcoming and it was interesting to see a real Scottish Ch. - presents under the Ch. Tree, smoked salmon, turkey with boiled vegetables (well, they had potato gratine and now this is my favorite way of cooking popatos) and s a home-made trifle. The family lives in a cottage and one can see sea from the kitchen window.

Vadim did make it to Aberdeen. But he had adventures getting his visa in Paris: 3 hours on the street under rain to get into the Embassy, 3 hours in the Embassy and then he sweared that he is not going to stay in UK after Ch. He had adventures in London: it was the Boxing Day and there were neither trains nor buses to Luton, so in the end some Spanish-speaking students that wanted to get to Luton too stopped a car and went to the airport taking Vadim and a Taiwanese student along. He had adventures on his way back looking for the British Museum for 40 minutes.

We spent a good time in Aberdeen sleeping 12 hours a day, waching DVD on Vadim's notebook and doing nothing. We bought an Indian takeaway and a pineapple for the New Year celebration and I was absolutely happy not cooking anything.

thank you, but I'll try to get the French visa. it is valid for all Shengen States and luckily Lux is among them.
