in TV shows and movies it is ordinary to see a heterosexual woman having a male gay friend. there is a new plot clishe when a man "A" is jealous of another man "B" but "B" is a homosexual and therefore no threat romantic notions of man "A".

but I am yet to see on the screen a heterosexual man and his lesbian woman-friend. I don't think lesbians are antisocial or hate men en masse. rather having a lesbian friend would be considered as undermining of masculinity of the man in question, he is expected to "recruit her to the right path".

Трудно представить, как gay мужик будет домогаться к главной героине (если он, конечно, не acquired gay). А вот близость к лесбиянке, это, собственно, мечта большинства всех straight. Особенно, если лесбиянок >1

так где образы лесбиянок в социальном контексте (а не истории типа "она любит её")? бедные женщины - сидели под веником у мужчин, от мужчин хотя бы в постели избавились, но поп-режнему на третьих ролях.
