thought of the week

Our incomes are like our shoes; if too small, they gall and pinch us;
but
if too large, they cause us to stumble and to trip. -John Locke,
philosopher (1632-1704)

Наши доходы как ботинки: когда они малы, они жмут и натирают , когда слишком велики, по их вине мы спотыкаемся и падаем.
- Джон Локк, философ

net, ya 100% chitala - v Universiteti ya izuchala Angliyskuyu Literaturu and on one of the modules we came across John Locke - yesterday after I read your post I was very intrigued to find out what exactly of his i read, looked through some of my old books and didn't find anything - but I'm very sure I read him, like I'm very sure I haven't read Shopengauser (or whatever other way you spell his name in English)
