I hope that you are not mad at me beecause I got cold feet in the last moment. In fact the plane's arrived a bit late and then I had a disscussion with a customer officer (he was very suspisious about me having 2 years long visa and 1,5 y. contract), a health
check etc. so I was ready to go only around 11 pm and decided that it was too late to phone you.
I like Aberdeen so far. Living in Edinburgh I thought -this is the only City in Scotland. But it happens that A. is 3d if you talk about population. The center and the main University Campus have plenty of splendid old granite buildings. Actually, A. reminds me of Edinburgh but flatter.
There are oil money around so general atmosfere is much better than in decrepit Dundee. On the other hand accommodation is more difficult to find and i would never find something like 15 Lauderdale Street - cheap and cheerful.
